Nothing, I would adopt a dog or a cat
I would prefer to buy a puppy or kitten not a mature aged pet
Adoption fees are too high
I don't like cats or dogs
Shelter/pound animals can be dangerous
I would just prefer to go through a pet shop
I want a specific breed that shelters/pounds may not have
